Sunwheel gathering marks first winter sunrise

(12/22/06) At the University of Massachusetts Sunwheel on Rocky Hill Road next to the football stadium, UMass astronomy professor Judith Young holds discussions during sunrise and sunset of each equinox and solstice. On Friday morning, a crowd of about thirty people gathered to mark the first sunrise of winter 2006.
