(6/1/07) The Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School was awarded its charter today. Boston.com is reporting that ten applications for new charters were made this year, and this was the only one to win approval.

I guess I still don't understand the trade-offs of having a charter school. Then again, sounds like it's a done deal...
